In addition to its massive flamingo population, Lake Manyara is possibly most famed for the tree-climbing lions who call this park home. Tree-climbing lions can be found in very few African parks and nowhere else in Tanzania; these agile predators cut a prominent figure as they lounge lazily in acacia trees.
